Mattress Delivery and Setup Checklist

Delivery day is easier when the route, support and inspection plan are ready before the truck or box arrives.

Before arrival

Clear stairs and doorways, protect fragile flooring and confirm who must be present. Measure the largest package, not only the mattress. Move the old bed only when the delivery timing is reliable.

At handoff

Check the name, model, size and number of packages. Photograph crushed corners, tears or water damage before signing. If service includes room placement or removal, confirm it with the crew before unpacking.

During setup

Use the opening tool supplied with boxed mattresses or blunt scissors; avoid cutting toward the cover. Center the mattress on a compliant foundation and let it expand according to the maker’s instructions.

First days

Ventilate the room if a new-product odor is present. Fit a suitable protector, but do not add a topper immediately unless needed; first learn the mattress’s own feel. Keep packaging only as required by the return policy.

Document the result

Save photos of labels, the full support system and any defect. Put trial and warranty dates in a calendar, including time for contacting support before the deadline.
