Mattress Shipping and Delivery Guide
Delivery is part of the product experience. Verify the package, route, service level and return logistics before the order leaves a warehouse.
Boxed versus full-size delivery
Compressed mattresses are easier to move through tight spaces but can still be heavy. Traditional delivery may use a full-size mattress and scheduled crew. Check package dimensions and weights for the exact size.
Service language
Curbside, doorstep, threshold, room-of-choice and white-glove service describe different handoffs. Confirm stairs, elevators, assembly, packaging removal and old-mattress disposal in writing.
Prepare the route
Measure narrow doors, ceiling height at stair turns and elevator depth. Clear wall art and fragile furniture. Decide who can safely help if the service stops at the door.
Inspect and report
Photograph damaged packaging and verify labels before opening. Report the wrong size, visible damage or missing parts immediately through the merchant’s official support channel.
Plan for a possible return
An expanded mattress usually cannot go back in its original box. Read who arranges collection and whether remote areas have different rules. Delivery convenience and return convenience are separate questions.
